Story: Allan Davis use to work at Valdosta State prison for 2yrs on day shift. Allen decided to attend school at Valdosta state, he planned on starting school in the fall on August 17th, before he could start school Allen need to start working night shift at the prison in order to attend school during the the day. Allen informed his chief that he had to make changes with his schedule one month prior to school starting. On Friday August 14 Allen was called into the warden office to be investigated because of allegations against him. Allen stayed at work until 10pm to talk to the investigators and was searched and eventually he was free to go home and return to work the next morning at 10a.m. Allen returned to work and was called into the warden office and told that he could return to his post but with supervision. Allen then asked the warden would he be able to begin working during night shift because school begins Monday, and the warden explained to him that he could not until the investigation is over and it could take weeks. Allen decided that he could not miss school for weeks at a time so he decided to resign, not knowing that would revoke him from ever working there again.
